  • Kimberly Baradei, Speech-Language Pathologist, brain tumor survivor, and Founder of Elevate Speech Services in Wake Forest, North Carolina. As a BELIEVE Board Member, Kim specializes in working with adults with neurological conditions. Her work is deeply informed by her own recovery journey, allowing her to connect with clients on a profoundly human level. She is passionate about helping individuals reclaim their voices, independence, and meaningful connections through personalized, evidence-based care.



  • Jennie Lacy, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and stroke survivor. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and a PhD from Duke University, Jennie brings both clinical insight and lived experience to her work. Since becoming a stroke survivor in December 2021, she continues to inspire others with her strength, compassion, and dedication to supporting individuals facing neurological challenges.
