Register for CTPF's Winter Town Hall Webinar

CTPF will offer a quarterly Town Hall webinar hosted by Carlton W. Lenoir, Sr., Executive Director, on January 31, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. The webinar will offer a general overview of Fund operations and offer seasonal reminders. The webinar is expected to last about 45 minutes. Register at ctpf.org/calendar.

2024 Retirement Webinars

CTPF members considering retirement next June are invited to attend a 2024 Retirement Webinar. These presentations provide a one-stop shop for retirement information, including a general overview of the CTPF and CPS retirement processes. Webinars will be offered at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on February 19 and March 26. Register at ctpf.org/calendar. 

CTPF will Mail 1099-R Forms to all Retired Members by January 31, 2024

The 2023 1099-R for pensioners will be mailed January 31, 2024, to the address on file at CTPF on December 15, 2023. The forms will also be posted in the myCTPF Member Self Service Portal no later than February 1, 2024. If you need a replacement form, you are encouraged to create an account at myCTPF.org so that you can download it directly. 

CTPF to You: Understanding Pension Benefits

On January 9, 2024, CTPF partnered with CTU Pension/ Insurance Committee to present an educational workshop for active members that covered general pension information. Find the webinar presentation and recording here.

CTPF To You: Understanding Tier 2 Benefits

The CTU Pension/Insurance Committee is partnering with the Chicago Teachers Pension Fund to present an educational workshop for active members on January 23, 2024, at 4:30 p.m.. The workshop will be presented by CTPF and will cover Tier 2 benefits. Corebridge Financial will be in attendance to provide further information on retirement plan options and answer member’s questions. Register at ctpf.org/calendar.

The myCTPF Member Self-Service Portal includes helpful features for active and retired members:   

• View and update address information (if you are not currently contributing to CTPF). 
• View and update phone number and email addresses. 
• View your benefit status information. 
• View and download 1099-R and pay advice(s) (pensioners) 
• View and download your annual Member Statement if you have service credit with CTPF.  
• Request an estimate of your CTPF retirement benefit (if you meet the eligibility requirements).
