The Town of Hillsborough is looking for a Building Attendant! The Building Attendant (BA) is the person who has first contact with people coming into Town Hall for evening and weekend meetings. The BA’s main responsibilities are to direct attendees to the correct meeting room, answer questions, and provide a presence in the lobby area. A perk of this position is getting a lot of homework done while the meetings are going on! There are approximately 2-4 meetings per month – weeknight hours start at 5:00pm and could go as late as 11:00pm. Weekend events are most often held between 8:00am and 2:00pm. If you would like to earn a little income, please contact Linda Chang at lchang@hillsborough.net or call 650-375-7502 for an application.

County Health recommends that residents stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, get tested if symptomatic, and connect with a doctor or Test-to-Treat offering if infected. Those at high risk for severe illness should consider taking additional precautions (such as avoiding crowded indoor activities with poor ventilation).
- The current risk of getting monkeypox (MPX) in the general public remains very low. Guidance on MPX, current case rates, and vaccine information is available here. San Mateo County residents who meet eligibility guidelines for highest risk for MPX may sign up to be notified about vaccination opportunities using the vaccination request form.
