Rutgers Cancer Institute Researcher receives Grant to support Acute Myeloid Leukemia Research 

Christina Glytsou, PhD, member of the Cancer Metabolism and Immunology Cancer Pharmacology Program at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey has received $600,000 over a three-year period from The V Foundation for Cancer Research. This landmark initiative called A Grant of Her Own: The Women Scientists Innovation Award for Cancer Research, aims to amplify female representation and encourage more women-led breakthroughs. Rutgers Cancer Institute Expert Sheds Light on Sarcoma

Monmouth Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Vogel Medical Campus at Tinton Falls, which will offer comprehensive cancer care together with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The new medical campus is designed to enhance the patient experience by providing comprehensive same-day surgery, on-site specialty physician offices and advanced diagnostic imaging. To celebrate the life of Dr. Joseph R. Bertino, former interim director and chief scientific officer of Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the Joseph R. Bertino Memorial Lecture Series will be held on July 13, 2023 at 4pm EST at Rutgers Cancer Institute. The event will examine clinical, laboratory and translational research in the areas of cancer and hematologic disorders and feature speaker Arnold J.
