We would like to share that Night in the Tropics is on!
After closely monitoring today's air quality conditions and reviewing the latest forecasts, we've made several modifications to drastically minimize outdoor exposure as much as possible for our guests, volunteers, staff, vendors, and animal ambassadors while preserving the spirit of the evening.
Here's what you can expect:

The event will be completely indoors. All event activities have been relocated inside the National Aviary.

Food, beverage, entertainment, and sponsor experiences have been redistributed throughout the Aviary to create an enjoyable experience across the building.

Check-in will take place entirely indoors.

Many seating areas have been reconfigured and moved indoors to maximize guest comfort.

Animal experiences have been thoughtfully adjusted to prioritize the well-being of both our guests and our animals.
Because we've intentionally shifted the event indoors, space will be more limited than in a typical year. If you would prefer not to attend due to today's air quality conditions, we'd be happy to offer one of the following options instead:

Convert your ticket into a National Aviary Family Membership

Receive four general admission tickets to visit another time

Convert your ticket into a tax-deductible donation supporting the National Aviary's mission
