What defines a legacy? Billy Frank Jr. Day is celebrated every year in early March. The event brings together teachers, students, and Tribal citizens to build trust and recognize Billy’s lasting impact. In this video, travel to Billy Frank Jr. Day 2024 and see how Billy’s legacy and the statue project to honor him is inspiring the next generation.

Visiting hours at Haiying Wu's workspace updated


South Puget Sound Community College updated visiting hours for the public to visit Haiying Wu's workspace. Visitors can enter the space where Haiying is working on the full-scale statue of Billy Frank Jr.


Public visiting hours:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Haiying Wu has entered the final phase of his work. He is applying the finishing touches and fine details on the lower half of the statue. We strongly encourage anyone who wants to see this incredible piece to visit SPSCC before Haiying completes his work in the weeks ahead.
