Council of Delegates Approves Strategic Plan

The 2024-27 IMSA Strategic Plan was approved by the Council of Delegates at the 2024 IMSA Forum & Expo. The plan was reviewed during the COD annual meeting and includes the following objectives:

  • Bolster certification development program
  • Expand IMSA educational offerings beyond exams
  • Create a comprehensive plan for volunteer leadership
  • Define and promote IMSA organizational excellence
  • Grow IMSA’s presence on national committees
  • Position IMSA for organizational growth

Overall, the plan seeks to solidify IMSA’s position as an industry leader by growing and strengthening certification, education and membership offerings as well as volunteer and member resources. It also strives to increase the association’s market share in the U.S. and Canada as well as overseas.

Staff and the board will now begin the process of operationalizing the plan by assigning tasks and timelines. A copy of the strategic plan is available on the IMSA website under Member Resources.
