For those who attended the April BFG Convention, you’ll recall Scott Galing from Do it Right Screening presented on USDOT Hiring Compliance. As a result, numerous franchisees suggested we provide “continuing education” pertaining to this critical topic.

We are pleased to announce three (3) USDOT and FMCSA Compliance Workshops that are being offered to educate franchisees on what they need to know and do when hiring Drivers. Topics include HR Basics, Criminal Records, MVR, Managing Driver Files, DOT Pre-Employment Requirements, and more. 2. redbox+ Dumpsters Equipment Chat on Microsoft Teams

This chat is for redbox+ drivers, managers, and owners to share ideas and experiences regarding redbox+ equipment operation, maintenance, repairs, setup, improvements, etc. The intent is to provide a forum for positive, constructive information sharing.

Initial access was given to all Franchise Owners and RBCs. If you did not receive access to the chat, please contact your RBC. Owners, if you would like additional members of your team added to the chat, please contact your RBC.

Equipment Resales Between Franchisees

All equipment sales between franchisees must include a Bill of Sale. The seller must provide the Bill of Sale to Heather Matejka to ensure equipment tracking and royalties are adjusted and tracked by corporate. Click below to read the used equipment sales best practices.

Kenworth "Baby 8" Roll-Off

After many requests for a "beefier" truck, we now have access to the new T480, Class 7 Kenworth trucks with heavier axles and suspension. The GVW is 66,000 pounds. The first one is available in late February 2023...just in time for Spring! If you are interested, please contact Steve Jahner or Heather Matejka.

Vac Tank Platform

Check the two mounting bolts under the vac pump platform to ensure they are present and secure so your platform doesn't fall off! If possible, drill a hole all the way through one of the pipes and insert a safety pin or bolt. 

Kenworth Aftertreatment Regen Process

To prevent potential fires, you can inhibit/turn off the aftertreatment regen prior to going into the landfill or other potentially dry, flammable environment. Remember to turn it back on upon leaving the landfill (do not forget to turn it back on).

To inhibit the regen, push the switch to the right of the key (beside the steering column) to the down position. The amber light will illuminate the switch. You will also get a message on the information center that states, “regen inhibited due to switch.” See the pictures below and refer to the PACCAR Engine Aftertreatment Systems Operator’s Manual.

• Galfab in Phoenix, AZ is 16 weeks.  
• Ford chassis (None available-Availability undetermined. Currently working on options).
• Toilet lead time is 2-4 weeks.
• We have tandems in stock and ready for delivery! Prices increase after the new year!
