Mark your calendars! We will be hosting quarterly maintenance training webinars with Whip Around, Kenworth, & Meritor on Zoom. The remaining webinars will be held at 5:00 PM EST on April 18, July TBD, and October 24. Calendar invites to follow.

Kenworth Manual Regen Video
The tutorial to the right is designed for the new model T480 and the model T370. Executing a manual regen can eliminate an expensive trip to the shop!

Wiring Harness Check
Check your truck's wiring harness to ensure it isn't rubbing through and shorting out. One symptom of this problem is when the taillights not working properly. Ensure your harness has adequate insulation around it where it goes through the rear spring hanger bracket. if you think it is necessary, put additional wrap, rubber, or insulation around the harness. Do not stretch, shorten or restrict it! We've had two or three rub through...don't be the next one. Check it!

Kenworth Tandem Axle Ride Height
There has been a noticeable uptick in u-joint failures, incorrect pinion angle measurements, and various transmission-related issues. Please see below for important information.
| | Condition | Possible incorrect ride height leading to driveline-related failures | Cause | A possible incorrect ride height set during up fitting, while completing the leveling valve retrofit, other repairs, or possible occurrence. | Correction | Your Kenworth dealer will check the ride height using a proprietary height gauge. They will take a measurement from the center of the rearmost axle to the bottom of the frame in between the tandems. They will need to adjust the ride height if the measurement is not within the specification. | | |
Please note: the measuring procedure for the inspection/adjustment requires special tooling. This is something your local Kenworth dealer will need to complete. This is not urgent, so have it checked next time you are in the shop; however, if you hear grinding or other uncommon noise from your drive train, take it in immediately.

redbox+ Dumpsters has purchased five F600 packages to be available in Q2 of 2023. If you are interested, please contact Steve Jahner.
The 15-yard Mini is now designed and we've placed our first order! The overall dimensions compared to the 10-yard Mini are 12" longer and 18.8" taller, while the width remains the same. It will be very similar to the 10-yard Mini, but heavier. Like the 10-yard Mini, it will have a hook lift and cable lift capability. Contact Steve Jahner to place your orders now!

Throughout the first three quarters of 2023, we are scheduled to receive some Kenworth T-480s:

Six will arrive in Q1 (all are sold, including the Baby 8)

To reserve a truck, John Bush will need a $5,000 deposit.
**ALL first-quarter Kenworths are built and will be to the upfitter in mid-February. The upfitter takes 4-8 weeks to install the Truck Equipment Package.**

Instead of the Freightliner M2/112, we are purchasing the Freightliner 108SD Plus.
Freightliner 108SD Plus: We procured three Freightliner 108SD Pluses for this year. We will receive one in Q2, one in Q3, and one in Q4 with the possibility of an additional one sometime in the year.
**The Freightliner that is coming in Q2 is available and under $200K!**
Western Star X49: We secured two Western Star X49s for this year. We will receive one in Q3 and one in Q4.
We will upfit these trucks with a 60K hoist and a Pioneer hydraulic tarp only, no vac pump system. More details and pricing to follow.
