Julia Warhola Thompson '13, business administration and history graduate, navigated her career from BNY Mellon to Kraft Heinz before embarking on her own entrepreneurial journey with Lunchline, Inc.


Crediting her college experience to developing her versatile skill set, helping merge her passions for history and business, and pushing her beyond her networking comfort zone, her current role emerged unexpectedly through a temporary position that led her to own her company.

In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, Chris Carmody '96 expresses his deep appreciation to his parents and their unwavering support to his life. Chris recently established a scholarship in his parents' honor, ensuring that future students can pursue their academic dreams at Westminster with financial assistance like he did.


“I wanted to thank my parents for all the opportunity and support they’ve provided me. There was no better way to do so than paying it forward and creating this scholarship in their names and supporting students that may need assistance in pursuing their education at a wonderful institution.”

Jessica Metzger '05 joined the New York Times as senior editor for the podcast, "The Headlines."


John Weisel '79 joined Trask Solutions as North American Leader.

Taylor Galaska '21, August Santillo '14, Kristen Thompson '12, and Kara Montgomery, Senior Director of Alumni Engagement at Westminster, were all recognized in Mercer County's 30 Under 40 recognition event.


Danny Owoc '17 started a new position as Strategy and Planning Advisor, AVP, at PNC.

Sarah Slonaker '17 graduated in May from Liberty University with a Master of Education with a Reading Specialist Endorsement.


Leigha Tipley '11 was featured on "On A Mission," a show on Buzz TV, for her work at Mott McDonald.

Amy Marasco Simpson '86 performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. This piece is a staple of orchestral literature, and is one of the most beloved and hardest of the piano concerto repertoire. A group of alumni from the class of 1986 attended the concert to cheer her on. Pictured left to right is Anita Anderson, Chris Holland Herrera, Amy Marasco Simpson, Douglas Friant, and Carrie Triko Widener.

Sarah Stankorb ’02 wrote a book, Disobedient Women, that will be out August 8. It just earned a starred review from Publishers Weekly. 


Regene King '03 was promoted to Director of Financial Aid at Westminster.

Maggie Muir Shylock '06, a PA Spanish teacher, received the Teacher of the Year award at her school district.


Gabrielle Diamond '21 completed her Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Nursing Education and Leadership at Carlow University.


Dr. Karen Resendes was promoted to Associate Dean of Assessment and First Year Experience at Westminster.


Nicole Viviano '16 accepted a position as a statistician at Health Resources and Services Administration.
