Early voting for the primary election starts this weekend, on Saturday, August 10, 2024. We encourage all members to participate and vote early. The last day for early voting is August 17, 2024.
Out of the 140 State Senate and House seats up for election, there are primary elections in 9 Senate races and 35 House races. Some of these races are open primary elections in which all primary candidates are of one party, and the winner will face no opposition in November. Regardless of party, anyone can vote for these candidates in the Primary Election.
