On Tuesday, January 28, the House Information Technology Budget & Policy Subcommittee will review legislative budget requests for IT projects, including the Early Steps Data System, which supports early childhood intervention services. Later that day, the House Human Services Subcommittee will provide an implementation briefing on HB 1267 (2024), focusing on economic self-sufficiency efforts led by the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Commerce, and CareerSource Florida, Inc.
On Wednesday, January 29, the House Health Care Budget Subcommittee will hold a panel discussion on mental health and substance abuse services, featuring representatives from the Department of Children and Families and the Agency for Health Care Administration.
