Early voting for the 2024 Primary Election began on August 10, 2024, and will continue until Saturday, August 17, 2024. We encourage all members to participate in early voting. If you cannot vote early, please remember that the final opportunity to vote is on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Out of the 140 State Senate and House seats up for election, there are primary elections in 9 Senate races and 35 House races. Some of these races are open primary elections in which all primary candidates are of one party, and the winner will face no opposition in November. Regardless of party, anyone can vote for these candidates in the Primary Election.
