Curious about what your fellow FLEX alumni are up to? Below are some recent alumni accomplishments to celebrate!

Karmen Laur '19 (Estonia)

Karmen recently had two pieces published in Postimees, one of the largest newspapers in Estonia! The first was an article analyzing the reasons behind the lack of incentive among Estonian youth to vote in elections. The second was an interview with climate policy specialist Laura Vilbiks analyzing potential connections between religion and efforts towards solving environmental issues. Awesome work, Karmen!

Kacper Malinowski '22 (Poland)

Kacper, a harpist, performed excerpts from Verdi’s opera “Nabucco” with the Lodz Grand Theatre and Opera’s Orchestra. He was the only high school student featured in the performance and became the youngest musician to ever perform in the orchestra of the most prominent artistic institution in central Poland! Congrats, Kacper!

Klara Kozlova '20 (Czech Republic)

Klara recently illustrated a picture book, "Striped Story," which was selected as a finalist in the Graphic Art of the Year competition organized by the Czech Association of Graphic Artists. Her book was presented at a prestigious exhibition in Prague's "U Betlemske Kaple" art gallery.  Congratulations, Klara!

Posters, hugs, tears, balloons, and, most importantly, new friendships await the new alumni as they step off their planes and into the alumni community.
