The 2023 Re-Entry Forum is an online space where new FLEX and YES alumni can connect, share experiences, and support one another in navigating the readjustment process. There is no one who better understands your exchange experience and the highs and lows of returning home than fellow alumni! Those who engage in the forum also have the opportunity to win a coveted FLEX sweatshirt! Check out this post for guidelines. Be sure to also check with your local Alumni Coordinator to find out when your country's in-person re-entry seminar will be held!

Curious about what your fellow FLEX alumni are up to? Below are some recent alumni accomplishments to celebrate!

Martin Cejpek '22 (Czech Republic)

Martin and his hometown korfball team earned the title of champions of the most prestigious Czech korfball league, beating six other teams and winning eight games out of 12. Not familiar with korfball? It is a sport similar to basketball played in teams of eight! Way to go, Martin!

Miruna Spineanu '22 (Romania)

Miruna won first place in the UNITA Alliance Green Mobilities Ideathon. Participants were tasked with developing new, eco-friendly transportation solutions. Miruna’s team created an app that facilitates bike transportation by providing a list of safe bike parking locations, instructions on how to fix a flat tire, and bike routes to important landmarks within the city. Additionally, the app allows students to earn points that can be counted towards physical education requirements or used for discounts at the school cafeteria. Great job, Miruna!

Anna-Maria Pilder ’20 (Estonia)

Anna-Maria was recognized by the Estonian Nurses Union for her research, entitled "Northern Estonian Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Department Employees’ position on the Prospect of legalizing euthanasia in Estonia.” Anna-Maria is the first high school student awarded recognition at the union's annual showcase of selected research! Congrats, Anna-Maria!
