“I met Vira in Washington, DC, during Civic Education Week while on my FLEX program, and I will always be thankful for the memories we made during that one week. Ever since then, I've been following Vira’s journey through social media. I was delighted to learn that Vira would travel to Georgia during the summer of 2022, so we could finally meet again. When she came to Georgia, we walked around Tbilisi and talked about many things. At the end of the day we spent together, I felt recharged with such positive energy. It felt like the world was small, and I realized that these moments are the ones that matter the most.” - Mariam Mezvrishvili ‘19 (Georgia)
