Hey Neighbor! ¡Hola Vecino!

Dear Friends,

We are deeply excited to share something truly special with you. Housing Trust Fund Ventura County and House Farm Workers! have created a new video, "Hey Neighbor! ¡Hola Vecino!"—a powerful and moving glimpse into the lives of our county's farmworker community. The video made its debut at the House Farm Workers! Forum on Friday, November 22nd in Ventura.

This 8-minute video invites you to meet three of our Ventura County neighbors—Livia, Socorro, and Felix—who have each worked and lived in Ventura County for more than 17 years. Through their stories, you’ll hear their struggle for safe, affordable housing that so many of our essential farmworkers face.

We hope this video will open your heart and mind to the critical issue of housing for farmworkers—our neighbors, friends, and the backbone of our local agriculture. Together, we can work toward a future where everyone in Ventura County has a safe affordable home.
