Event Description

Neuroscientific evidence is increasingly being applied in legal cases, and legal regulations significantly shape neuroscience research and clinical applications of neurotechnologies. In this talk, Dr. Lázaro-Muñoz and Dr. Shen will provide an overview of the emerging field of “neurolaw”, discussing how brain science is being applied in the courtroom and how law intersects with neuroscience research. The talk will also explore new cross-campus collaborations at Harvard, and emerging funding opportunities for addressing legal, ethical, diversity, and equity challenges in brain science research projects.

Open to all Harvard students, fellows, faculty, and staff.
