The 2025 Cookie Season Starts January 1st!

Important Reminder on use of Social Media in the Cookie Program

An individual Girl Scout’s Digital Cookie link may be shared with family and friends via personal social media pages, email, and text, but never on community social media pages or resale sites.

For example, a parent may post her daughter's link on their personal Facebook page that will be seen by family and friends. A parent cannot share their daughter’s link through a public site such as Next Door, a school Facebook page, or a neighborhood Facebook page or group. This would create an unfair advantage or confusion on a page or in a group where other girls' families may be members.

Troop leaders and families may share a troop’s Digital Cookie link or advertise a booth sale on community social media pages. When sharing a troop’s Digital Cookie link on community social media pages, be mindful of the following: Troop Digital Cookie sites should only be shared on community social media pages within the troop’s Service Unit area.

No one may sell Girl Scout Cookies on a resale site including, but not limited to Craigslist, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace. This includes posting individual or troop Digital Cookie links.
