Ready. Set. Rally!
Inviting new girls into Girl Scout troops is just as important to us as making sure you, our current members, feel engaged and supported in the Girl Scout experience. Do you have a friend, neighbor, or family member who would be a great Girl Scout? Bring them to one of our six recruitment rallies this fall!

Join us this Saturday, October 8th for one of two Girl Scout recruitments at the Children’s Museum of Richmond or at John Lee Pratt Park in Fredericksburg. Save the date, bring a friend, and see you there! Can’t make it to the recruitment on the 8th? Don’t worry, we have more planned. See the full schedule below, and call or email the help desk with any questions about registration at 804-746-0590 or gshelper@comgirlscouts.org

GSCV is committed to providing ongoing support to our dedicated leaders. In response to the many requests we’ve received from leaders, we have created live virtual training sessions with a mental health expert. The training will be offered on two different dates and times to meet the specific needs of leaders with younger and older girls.

Tuesday October 18th at 6:30p.m.-7:30p.m. for the Daisy-Junior session

Thursday October 20th at 6:30p.m.-7:30p.m. for the Cadette-Ambassador session

Beginning Camping
Let's get your troop outside! The Beginning Camping course is designed for leaders who have little camping experience and want to take their troop camping. Upon completion of this course, you will be certified to take your Girl Scout Troop on a camping trip in the backyard, in a permanent structure such as a cabin at a state park, or Girl Scout Camp. The course follows progression in the outdoors and is specifically designed for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Leaders. We can't wait to see you at training! This course takes place in a single day with a required prep video to watch prior to training. You will be sent the video after registration is completed and processed.
