Kickoff 2023: We Heard You...

Last week, we sent out the Save the Date for our 2023 Kickoff. And we'll admit: such short notice didn't give our members and volunteers adequate time to plan on attending. We've heard your feedback loud and clear, and vow to improve our timing moving forward. Thank you all for your suggestions on how to make this Kickoff a success. We've taken them all into consideration, and are proud to provide an updated plan for our Kickoff 2023 events.

Our September 7th & September 9th in-person events are canceled. Instead, we will meet virtually on September 12th at 6:30 p.m. for Fall Product Training and an exciting introduction to the new Girl Scout Camp registration system. You can register for that below.

In addition, we will host two virtual events on the evenings of October 3rd and 5th . These events will highlight remarks by your CEO on the “State of the Council”, the 2023-24 Program Activity and Event Guide, introduce a new opportunity for Mental Wellness programming, review the new camp reservations system, and provide information on cookie training dates and why you don’t want to miss. You can also register for those below.

Again, we apologize for any inconveniences we may have caused, and hope that this change to virtual events will make it easier for us to come together and drum up excitement for the year ahead!

Yours in Girl Scouting,

Molly T. Fuller

GSCV Treat Yourself: Fall Product Program

Materials for the upcoming Fall Product Program were mailed the week of August 21st.

The Fall Product Program is a fun and simple way for Girl Scout troops to finance adventures, give back to the community and learn the five essential skills of Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills, and Business Ethics. Troop packets will be mailed to leaders this summer.

This year’s theme is OWN YOUR MAGIC and the mascot is the Ocelot.

The Ocelot is a medium-sized wildcat found throughout the Southwest in the United States, Mexico, and Central and South America.

They are agile climbers and love to swim. Their beautiful fur coats make them resemble a jaguar or leopard. Encourage your Girl Scouts to learn more interesting things about these beautiful, endangered cats.

New this year customers will be able to purchase Tervis products and a special

Girl Scout themed Bark Box through the magazine portal.
