The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) Dean’s Office is pleased to announce an opportunity for CSU students majoring in Music!

Now through Wednesday, September 14, 5:00 p.m., a limited number of FREE (regular price $50) Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Cards will be made available to Music students on a "first-come, first-served" basis. This opportunity has been made available by a generous local supporter of the College who would like to see more CSU students at local cultural events, like the Cleveland Orchestra!
 
The Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Card gives local university students the opportunity to attend as many classical Cleveland Orchestra concerts as they like! Additionally, the Frequent Fan Card provides the same perks as the Orchestra’s popular “Student Advantage” program. It’s a great deal!
 
To reserve your free Frequent Fan Card, be one of the first students to place your reservation by emailing v.mathis@csuohio.edu with your name, student ID, preferred email address, and phone number before Wednesday, September 14, 5:00 p.m. If you have questions, you may also email the Dean’s office at v.mathis@csuohio.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About the Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Card 

What is the Cleveland Orchestra Frequent Fan Card?
 
  • The Frequent Fan Card is a program being made available by the Cleveland Orchestra. The A&S Dean’s Office, through the generosity of a local donor, is able to make these cards available for free to students majoring in Music. 

  • The Frequent Fan Card gives CSU students the option to attend as many regular Cleveland Orchestra concerts as they wish at both the Severance Music Center and Blossom Music Center
 
How does the Frequent Fan Card program work?
 
  • Each Monday before a concert, an email is sent to student members alerting them to the availability of student tickets for the upcoming weekend. Login to your Cleveland Orchestra account on clevelandorchestra.com, select the tickets you want, and place them in the shopping cart. Your special student pricing will be applied once the tickets are in your cart.
 
Additionally, all Frequent Fan Card members receive the same benefits as Cleveland Orchestra Student Advantage ticket-holders. You can read more about the Student Advantage program and its benefits at clevelandorchestra.com/attend/student-tickets/.
 
Who can get a Frequent Fan Card through the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office?
 
  • Any currently registered CSU student majoring in Music.

  • The Frequent Fan Card is best for those who think that they will attend at least 3-4 concerts over the entire academic year.
 
How many Frequent Fan Cards may I get?
 
  • Each student may apply to receive one card. A guest ticket for a concert can be purchased for $15.
 
How many Frequent Fan Cards are available to CSU students?
 
  • Supplies are limited. A limited number of Frequent Fan Cards are available to students majoring in music on a “first come, first served” basis.
 
How do I reserve a Frequent Fan Card?
 
  • Email v.mathis@csuohio.edu with your name, student ID number, preferred email address, and phone number no later than Wednesday, September 14, 5:00 p.m. If you have questions or need clarification, you may also email the Dean’s office at v.mathis@csuohio.edu.

  • You will be notified when your cards will be available for pick up at the School of Music.
