December 1st

World AIDS Day

On this World AIDS Day, the CAPTC remains dedicated to a future where HIV/AIDS is no longer a threat. We reaffirm our commitment to equipping healthcare professionals with the skills needed to interrupt the transmission of HIV through trainings on partner services, disclosure, motivational interviewing, and strength-based approaches. Since the peak of the epidemic, the collective work of the public health workforce has significantly reduced HIV and HIV-related deaths. Every healthcare provider we train allows us to get one step closer to our goal. The CAPTC is proud to contribute to this progress. We commend every partner in this effort and thank you for your invaluable contributions over the years.
