Hanukkah in Santa Monica

This year, the city of Santa Monica invited BCC to light the menorah on the Third Street Promenade for the 7th night of Hanukkah! Join Rabbi Jillian Cameron, Cantorial Soloist Raymond Zachary as we celebrate this honor and add our special BCC light to Hanukkah in Santa Monica.

Torah Study

Tuesday, December 23, 7 pm


Join BCC's Rabbi Jillian Cameron every Tuesday from 7 pm - 8:30 pm on Zoom to explore the week's Torah portion through thoughtful discussion and conversation. All are welcome; friends, familiar faces, and new ones. No prior experience needed!

Chinese Christmas Eve Dinner

Wednesday, December 24, 6 pm


Members and friends of BCC and Kol Ami are invited to Chinese Christmas Eve dinner at 6 pm on Wednesday, December 24th in a private banquet room at Fu's Palace, 8751 W. Pico Blvd. All inclusive 4 course meal (with tea) is $34, including tax and tip. Please bring cash to pay at the restaurant. There is a bar at the restaurant if you want to buy a drink. Please RSVP to Maggie at the BCC office.

Join us before Shabbat for a clothing swap! A clothing swap provides an opportunity create a safe, affirming space for trans folks (and everyone!) to explore Shabbat-ready styles. Please bring gently used clean clothes in all sizes, as well as unopened/unused hair and makeup products. No sign up is necessary; we look forward to seeing you there! December's book is Hotel Cuba, by Aaron Hamburger. This is a novel about Jewish immigrants who go to Cuba in the 1920s when they are unable to reach New York.

One Value at a Time Class
