Tuesday Weekly Torah Study

Next week we begin the cycle of reading Torah from the beginning once again! This year we are trying something different at our weekly Torah Study. We will continue to study the Torah portion but we will also be including the accompanying Haftarah portion! It will offer new learning and new lenses through which we see our sacred and central Torah text. Join us!

AIDS Stories: A Panel Discussion on the AIDS Crisis and Memory

Sunday, October 22, 3 pm


Beth Chayim Chadashim joins community members to discuss the lasting impact of the AIDS crisis on individuals, communities, our city, and the world, and to consider how we honor and remember those we lost and the lessons we learned. 


Attendees at this event will hear from Ray Eelsing, a long-term survivor of HIV/AID and BCC’s rabbi emerita Lisa Edwards who fought at the front lines. The panel will be moderated by Beth Chayim Chadashim’s Rabbi Jillian Cameron. Click here to learn more and register!
