Shabbat Evening Service

Join Rabbi Jillian Cameron as we welcome Shabbat together through soulful song, prayer, creative teachings, and communal connection. Shabbat Morning Minyan

BCC's Monthly Shabbat Morning Minyan continues in a most nontraditional way—hybrid in person and by Zoom. All BCC members and friends are invited to join in this service, which features rousing melodies, Torah reading, and uplifting prayers for healing and consolation in a warm, welcoming setting.

Kosher QueerFest

This Pride season Kosher QueerFest! will bring the Queer, Jewish and surrounding communities together for a day of celebration and fun at Pico Union Project in the heart of Los Angeles. Kosher QueerFest! is the debut festival collaboration of Rainbow Shabbat and Mostly Kosher which will feature Jewish Queer musicians, comedians, clergy and more!

Maaleh Hayim - How to Mikvah: Queer Edition

The Jewish LGBTQ+ community and Maaleh Hayim come together to welcome the month of Elul. Share and learn about this meaningful month, the ritual of mikvah and how it can be a powerful spiritual practice. We’ll experience a symbolic immersion as we prepare for the High Holy Days. Bring a towel, and an open heart. All are welcome - LGBTQ+, Jewish, Jew-ish, and friends. Let's gather to reflect, renew and rejoice. Suggested Donation of $36. Click here to register!

B(ee)CC Honey!
Jonathan Falk and George Garcia have a harvest of organic, backyard honey this year to sell, just in time for Rosh Hashanah, benefiting BCC. The cost is $12 for a 16 fl oz jar (approx 23 oz by weight), with profits going to BCC. Please see Jonathan at services Friday nights in August, or email him at jonfalk@aol.com. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted.
