2022 Transition Contacts Meeting

April 6, 2022

9:00a - 12:00p

2022 VISIONS Transition Conference

April 6-8, 2022

Review of Transition Services and Programs

Due to recent consideration, the Bureau of Exceptional Education (BEE) has concluded that the Transition Coalition’s Quality Indicators of Exemplary Transition Programs Needs Assessment Instrument (QI-2) will no longer be utilized as part of the process for reviewing the districts' transition services and programs. We greatly appreciate the time that districts have taken to complete it and regret any inconvenience caused.

Moving forward, we are sharing a few helpful reminders regarding the Project 10 Transition Services and Programs Questionnaire (TSPQ):

  • The Project 10 TSPQ is an online platform (Qualtrics).
  • Only 1 Transition Contact from each district will be completing the TSPQ.
  • Transition Contacts participating in the statewide Transition Contacts Meeting on April 6th (the morning of the VISIONS Conference in Orlando) will have time allotted during the meeting to complete the TSPQ.
  • Please ensure that the Transition Contact has a fully charged laptop or tablet in order to complete the online questionnaire.
  • A link to the Project 10 TSPQ will be sent after the VISIONS Conference to the Transition Contacts who were not able to attend.

A few notes regarding the group interviews that will be facilitated by Project 10:

  • Time will be allotted for Project 10 Regional Transition Representatives (RTRs) to facilitate group interviews during the statewide Transition Contacts Meeting (morning of April 6th in Orlando).
  • Project 10 RTRs will facilitate the interviews by Project 10 Region (i.e. Region 1 will be facilitated by the RTR for Region 1).
  • For districts that were not represented during the group interviews on 4/06, the RTRs will schedule a time to meet virtually or in person.
  • Depending on the number of districts and schedules, the RTR may possibly facilitate a meeting with multiple districts within the region.
  • To expedite the scheduling process, districts may notify their RTR in advance if they are not planning to have representation at the statewide Transition Contacts' Meeting.
