Parent Centers often provide information to families and youth/young adults about their legal rights and obligations. How can Parent Centers fulfill this critical role without running afoul of their state’s Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) rules? This workshop provides an overview of the principles of UPL and appropriate individual assistance and tools and tips to stay on the correct side of the UPL line!
