Help us raise $10,000 for students with a dollar-for-dollar matching fund!

Did you know that North Texas Giving Day is a few days away?

Every gift counts, and with our $5,000 matching gift in place, your support goes twice as far! We're focusing on expanded Mental Health Services, Family Engagement, and Post-secondary Success to create brighter futures for the students we serve.

Family engagement in schools contributes to positive student outcomes, including improved student achievement, decreased disciplinary issues, and an improved school environment.

Post-secondary success focuses on helping students graduate with a plan in place for continuing education or having a marketable skill or knowledge to empower them to improve their lives, the lives of their families, and their communities.

To support the growing need for mental health services, CIS Dallas provides no-cost mental health and well-being services to Pre-K—12th grade students throughout North Texas, through 1:1 counseling and group-based services that occur on school campuses, during the school day.

We're teeing up for our annual event! Join us to support our students across the region. All proceeds will go towards supporting educational programs and providing resources for students in need. Register to play today!

Our CEO, Adam Powell, and our Chief Advancement Officer, Kristin Kelley, sat down with Erin Hunter at WFAA to talk about the work of Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region, and to promote our Golf and Pickleball tournament on Sept. 23! "All the fun on the green, and on the court, supports the goal of encouraging kids to stay in school."

Did You See The Back to School Briefing & Strategic Plan Rollout?

Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region hosted stakeholders from across the community, to listen to local educational leaders (Dr. Stephanie Elizalde, Superintendant of Dallas ISD; Miguel Solis, President of The Commit Partnership; and Adam Powell, President and CEO of Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region) discuss pressing topics in public education. Alanna Quillen of NBC DFW moderated a thoughtful discussion on how to best care for student needs in this back-to-school season.
