Rochester, NY –June 24, 2023–Jazz in June is Back! What an amazing opening night! Every venue was packed! Thank you all for coming out for the start of our 20th Edition! The music plays on, tonight on outdoor free stages, in the Clubs, and at Eastman Theatre.
We'll see you on Jazz Street for day two of the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival, one of the world’s leading jazz festivals. The nine-day event produced by Marc Iacona and John Nugent continues through July 1 in Downtown Rochester, NY, at 19 diverse venues.
More than 1750 artists will play at the Festival this year in 300 shows, including 100 free performances, nightly jam sessions, and jazz workshops. Musicians will travel from 14 countries outside the U.S. The festival draws more than 210,000 people annually.

Keb' Mo' Headlines Tonight at Eastman Theatre

With five GRAMMYs, 14 Blues Foundation Awards, and a groundbreaking career spanning nearly 50 years under his belt, Keb’ Mo’s got nothing left to prove. Just don’t tell him that. “I may be turning 70,” Keb’ reflects, “but I’m still breathing, and I’m still hungry. ABOUT THE CGI ROCHESTER INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
The CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival is one of the world’s leading jazz festivals. Held annually in Rochester, NY, more than 210,000 music fans attend the nine-day festival, which presents 300 shows at 19 venues with more than 1750 artists from around the world. The Festival was founded in 2002 and is produced by RIJF, LLC, a privately held company owned by John Nugent and Marc Iacona. 2023 marks the festival's 20th Edition. The 2020 and 2021 Festivals could not be held due to the coronavirus pandemic.
