Dear Friend of the NYC Hospitality Alliance,
THE ALLIANCE NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT DURING OUR MAY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE.
THE UPDATE
The NYC Hospitality Alliance has fought around the clock to secure critical policies to support restaurants, bars and nightclubs throughout the pandemic (see our recap of achievements). We’ve had sweeping coverage by the press, advocating for our industry, and making sure you were heard in Congress, Albany, and City Hall. We keep our industry informed of the news that you need to know and responded timely with answers and insights to thousands of industry inquires. We demanded our seat at the table during this crisis and we were heard.
Our BOARD OF DIRECTORS and Alliance members have informed and led the way!
THE POLITICS
Now, as NYC hopefully emerges from the worst of the pandemic, we still must fight to replenish the RRF, work on developing the permanent outdoor dining program, fix the 80/20 Rule, PPP relief, repeal the commercial rent tax, reduce fines, streamline the permit and licensing process and so much more.
The tables are also turning. We’re again seeing anti-small business proposals targeting our industry that will create more red tape, more legal liability, and make it even more expensive and difficult to run your businesses and recover. The NYC Hospitality Alliance takes these issues seriously, so we must have a thoughtful and organized voice to respond.
THE SUPPORT
We know that you may still be in a difficult financial situation, but your support as a hospitality operator in NYC is vital to our operations. That’s why we’re respectfully asking you to make the most meaningful membership contribution you’re currently able to to ensure your restaurants, bars and nightclubs are members of the NYC Hospitality Alliance. You may support at one of the following levels (starting at just $1/day, your membership may be paid annually or monthly) One membership is inclusive of all your establishments in NYC:
We’re also happy to schedule a call with you to discuss your contribution and all matters impacting our industry.
We greatly appreciate your support of our efforts. The NYC Hospitality Alliance does not exist without dedicated leaders and supporters like you.
We remain at our industry’s service.
