Tell us a little about yourself, your hobbies, passions or goals.
I’ve had an extensive career as an administrative assistant which gave me a myriad of experiences working for non-profit organizations, news media corporations, the health care industry, as well as the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration and Customs and Border Protection at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, assisting enforcement agents in combating drug trafficking.
During my career, I’ve also taught English as a second language at a language institute and at the University of San Buenaventura Cali in Colombia.
As a native Spanish speaker born in Colombia, I was raised in New Jersey. In 1994, I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass media and Spanish literature from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J.
I’m passionate about work and my love for animals is immeasurable. I have three cats and a 2-month-old Jack Russell.
