The Christmas Bazaar is less than a month away!

Please help us spread the word: The St. Alban's Christmas Bazaar is less than one month away, and we need you to help spread the word. Bazaar trick-or-treat cards are available to pick up in the Narthex and Parish Hall to distribute to neighbors, friends, and trick-or-treaters. PDFs of Flyers and post cards are also available on the Bazaar webpage

Yard Signs will also be available in the Parish Hall after both services this week. We encourage you to place them in your yards but suggest waiting until after the election to post in community spaces. If you kept your yard sign from last year, we have the new dates you can slide into the plastic sleeve.

If you have any questions about the Christmas Bazaar, please reach out to Nick Huskins or Bethany Bower at bazaar@stalbansva.org

Thank you for being so supportive of the St. Alban's Christmas Bazaar!

Annandale Christian Community for Action Updates

You helped donate 13 lbs of food this past week, thank you!

Food donations are greatly needed! ACCA continues to be in need of canned chicken, canned meat, peanut butter and pasta sauces.

In addition, volunteer drivers have been working overtime to deliver food to people’s homes. If you have a spare hour once every week or two, try doing a delivery. It can be very rewarding. You don’t have to drive on a regular schedule, but just when you have time.

Please drop off food donations in the Narthex, so that Fran Walinsky can take donations to the pantry each week. Monetary donations to ACCA are also welcome! For info, click here.

Contact Gail Coleman, gv.coleman@verizon.net or Debbe Heiman at deborahsheiman3@gmail.com if you have any questions!

For Our Parish

O God, we give you thanks for our nation’s veterans. We honor them for their faithful service to our country, and for what they have done to defend and preserve our freedom. We are grateful to all who have served, whether in peacetime or in conflict. We thank you, God, for all of our country’s veterans —those of past generations, and those who continue to earn this title today. May we never forget what our country has asked of them and what they have given in return. Help us to give them the respect and honor they are due.
