MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

Does it surprise you to know that the market remains a Seller's Market, albeit with more stability in terms of prices? 

Due to continuing factors of high demand and low inventory, we are in a holding pattern in the South when it comes to the market. In our region, demand remains strong.

However there have been some interesting dynamics at play affecting both buyers and sellers which we will go into next month so please stay tuned!

In Summary:

• Pending Home Sales [homes under contract] in the South increased by .2% from last month [National Association of Realtors]
• Existing Homes Sales [completed transactions] in the South decreased by 3.4% from last month [National Association of Realtors]
• 8.6% decrease from last year
• Length of Time on Market: 16 days [National Association of Realtors]
• As opposed to 17 days in April
• Median Existing Home Price: $407,600 [National Association of Realtors]
• Up 14.8% from May of 2021
