VBS Volunteer Service Trip to Israel

January 1 - January 7, 2025

Please join Rabbi Nolan Lebovitz on his third trip to Israel to serve alongside Israeli volunteers who are working to sustain Israel during this crisis. Our purpose is to be helpful and to show solidarity with our Israeli family. This is just one of many ways that we at VBS will continue to stand with Israel.

We are working with experts on the ground in Israel to identify our volunteer activities. They will be based on the needs at the time we are in Israel. The detailed itinerary will be available approximately a week before departure. Some activities may include: harvesting fields for farmers that have been called up to reserve duty; sorting and organizing distribution of non-combat items to soldiers; and possibly assisting in preparing homes for those returning from evacuation.

Wednesday, January 1, 2025 midday through Tuesday evening, January 7, 2025

Participants are required to make their own flight arrangements. You may contact Michal at World Express Travel at (818) 654-2880 for assistance. Please plan to arrive in Israel by midday on Wednesday, January 1.

Requirements:

Must be willing to participate in volunteer activities.

Ability to be flexible as plans will be determined on a daily basis.

Cost:

$3,500, includes Inbal Hotel, Jerusalem (double occupancy*), most meals, airport transfers, luxury bus transportation, professional guide, speakers, and all volunteer activities.

*Single occupancy supplement: $960.

Does not include airfare or tips ($150 for tips).
