Message From Our Leadership

Greetings!

In recent weeks, we were reminded that our responsibility to our people never rests. Increasingly we are navigating a challenging landscape marked by an alarming rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment. But history shows our strength is defined by how we unite against adversity, not by the adversity itself.

IAJF remains fiercely committed to the Jewish People and to Israel’s absolute right to security, sovereignty, and peace. Our goal is always to build, to protect, and to empower. With your partnership, we continue to expand critical programs in Israel, strengthen advocacy at home, and cultivate the next generation of proud Zionist leaders.

In this summer update, you will see how your contributions are changing lives. Recent programs will memorialize the young souls lost at the Nova Festival and inspire and support the next generation through leadership and vocational training at Yemin Orde. Locally, you will see glimpses of our community building efforts through recent Young Couples and Generation Now programming.

Finally, as we approach the Fourth of July and honor 250 years of American freedom, the country that welcomed our community only a few decades ago, we can’t help but look ahead to our own Silver Anniversary Gala on November 12th, celebrating 25 years of standing strong, united, and cultivating a community of philanthropy to help sustain the future of others.

May you all have a wonderful Fourth of July and safe, happy, and healthy summer.

Nova Installation: Preserving Truth and Honoring the Fallen

The Nova Ambulance Memorial

Remembering the victims of October 7th, educating about the atrocities: IAJF is honored to continue its support for the Tribe of Nova Foundation in constructing the Ambulance Memorial at the Re’im festival site, visited by over 2.5 million annually.

This sacred compound will feature a full-scale memorial of the evacuated ambulance that was attacked, ensuring the stories of the 18 young lives lost inside are permanently preserved. Read more.

Empowering Disadvantaged Youth and Young Veterans

IAJF has proudly partnered with Yemin Orde to provide life-changing vocational scholarships and professional certificate training for IDF veterans and resilient, at-risk youth and immigrants in Israel.

Today, as nearly 1,000 graduates of their leadership programs defend the nation on the front lines, our support is more critical than ever. Offering these brave young veterans a vital lifeline of career training provides clear long-term financial independence as they transition back to civilian life. Read more.

BUILDING & STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY

Young Couples Parlor Meeting on

Iran, Israel and the Global Political Climate

The new IAJF Young Couples group recently gathered for an exclusive, intimate parlor meeting focusing on the complex geopolitical dynamics surrounding Iran, Israel, and the global political climate. This special evening featured insights from renowned experts IAJF Board Member Marjan Keypour Greenblatt and Senior Iran Researcher at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies Behnam Ben Taleblu, offering attendees a rare opportunity to connect over the pressing issues shaping our world today. Keep an eye out for upcoming exclusive events.

Expanding Our Community: Generation Now Inaugural Event

Our newly launched Generation Now group kicked off in unforgettable fashion, bringing together more than 150 people for an incredible inaugural evening. With great food, an energetic 80s and 90s soundtrack, and plenty of laughter and conversation, the event was about much more than watching a game—it was about building new connections and bringing together a community that we hope will grow together for years to come.

We hope this was the first of many Generation Now gatherings and the beginning of a lasting connection between these incredible individuals and the IAJF family.

While we don't want to take too much credit, we're relatively sure the electric atmosphere of the evening helped propel the Knicks to their first Finals victory, giving everyone in attendance even more reason to celebrate.
