2024 was a landmark year for AIA Latin America, marked by its official establishment in March in Medellín, where the foundation for the section’s growth and 2025 activities was laid.
Key achievements include signing a MOU with AIA International and CAU/BR at the AIA International Conference in Hong Kong, and the Pan-American Biennial of Architecture of Quito (BAQ2024). As the year concludes, the section looks ahead to 2025 with exciting events like Fast-Forward – Congresso de Arquitetura in Mexico City and the CAU International Conference in Brasília, promising vibrant dialogue and innovation under the leadership of incoming President Jorge Arditti.
