On Tuesday, May 10, STEM held a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the completion of Phase One of the P-TECH Building Remodel.
These are special times at STEM as we are seeing all of the behind-the-scenes work from to fruition. We can't wait to have students in the building this fall for the Cyber Security and the Robotics and Automation (formerly mechatronics) Pathways.
What is P-TECH? P-TECH stands for Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools. These pathways allow students to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Robotics and Automation degree or an Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity from Arapahoe Community College. And now, instead of having to take classes off campus at ACC, we'll be able to hold all the classes at STEM!
Phase Two, the Healthcare Pathway, is now in development and we hope to begin moving forward on the construction of that within the next school year.
The final phase is going to be the build-out of a Business/Graphic Design Pathway. Development for that will begin next school year.
