• The US Virgin Islands (USVI) held an EMSC sponsored Pediatric Health Fair on May 11. Congratulations to USVI FAN Rep Arnold Payne, EMSC Program Manager Ericka McIntosh-Malcolm, and EMSC Program Director Jacqueline Greenidge-Payne! You can watch the event recording here: Part 1 and Part 2.
• Connecticut FAN Rep, Nanfi Lubogo, and the Connecticut EMSC team have created a resource video about File of Life. File of Life is a national, non-profit organization that has created standardized information sheets for patients and families to give to EMS providers in an emergency.
• PEAK: Multisystem Trauma has been published. The toolkit contains resources for clinicians and patients and families. Please use the Promo Guide to share the toolkit on social media.
• Oregon FAN Rep, Tamara Bakewell, contributed to an article in published Pediatrics about ways to use the FESAT in quality improvement efforts.
• The EIIC offers their sincerest thanks to all the FANs who provided feedback on the finalized Injury Evaluation Guide.
• Utah FAN Rep, Jeff Wilson, continues to make an impact in his community with the John Wilson Autism Kits and training.

New resources 

• Check out these resources on safe sleep from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Institute for Child Health and Development (NICHD). Thank you to our HRSA officers for highlighting these important resources!
• University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital has created a series of short, educational videos for parents on mental and behavioral health topics that are often discussed during children's primary care visits.
• The EMSC Program in Minnesota and Region V for Kids have developed a guide on what parents and families should know about reunification.
• The AAP has has created resource for families called "Parenting Kids who Have Experienced Trauma." This resource is available in both English and Spanish.
• Intermountain Health has created a child and teen mental health resource to help parents navigate mental health conversation with their child.
• The Courageous Parents Network has created a travel guide for parents of children with special healthcare needs.
• The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has created a guide for caregivers to help sure they are prepared for a disaster.
• NPR released an article on how to prepare for power outages if you rely on electronic medical equipment.
• Southwest Florida Children's Hospital has created a sensory friendly ambulance and training for EMS providers.
