February Youth Hero: Grayson Johnson | | | | |
With a new month comes a very new Youth Hero recipient. Parks and Recreation is excited to announce February’s Youth Hero, Grayson Johnson.
This well-rounded youngster is involved in so many different activities in the community. Grayson participates in flag football, baseball, martial arts, and basketball. His basketball coach describes Grayson as the “personification of what every player looks for. He comes to practice with a positive attitude, does everything and beyond what is asked, gives 110% effort, and always has a smile on his face. Grayson gets better every time he steps on the court because of these attributes”
| | |
Grayson’s mother describes his biggest attribute being love, and love for everyone. Grayson is not only caring to his family and peers, but his compassion for animals is also evident. He has a passion for marine life and wants to work in marine biology as he gets older. Grayson has already worked with a local university, tagging sharks for research.
Whether you see this sweet kid giving hugs to animals, high fiving his teammates or giving a ‘thank you’ to coaches in the community, let’s honor such an amazing role model! We are so proud of you Grayson, thank you for being you!
