Dear Idaho Falls Bengal Community,
I am writing today to announce that Lowell Richards, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, has agreed to serve as the Interim Executive Director of the Idaho Falls campus. It is anticipated that Lowell will serve in this capacity until the search for a permanent Executive Director, which will begin this fall, is successfully completed.
Lowell has served the ISU community for 21 years. He has extensive experience addressing student needs, campus operations, community relations, and institutional budgets. Lowell will provide operational leadership for the campus, and will partner closely with the Office of the Provost which will oversee academic programming and faculty support and development.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Lyle Castle, Dean of the Idaho Falls Campus, for his many years of service to the Idaho Falls Bengal community. Dr. Castle, as previously announced, is assuming a new role as Interim Dean of the College of Science and Engineering and I am grateful for his past and current service to the institution.
Lowell will begin his duties as Interim Executive Director on June 25. Please join me in welcoming him into his new role!
Best,
Adam Bradford
Acting Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs
