NAF, RTX, and Compton Unified School District Join Forces to Open Three New NAF Academies of Engineering in Southern California

Annual Advisory Board Strategic Planning – Sunset High School (AOF & AOHS)

Led by board chair Beth Whitaker, members from Sunset High School’s advisory board met recently for annual strategic planning. The board reviewed data from the WBL Tracker and the Student Field Guide to formulate a plan for work-based learning. The group had a great time connecting and celebrating the success from last year.

Marriott International Corporate Partners Kickoff Meeting – Washington, D.C.

On September 12, Natasha Orbis (Marriott Relationship Manager, Partnership Activation) and Jessica D. Williams (D.C. Portfolio Manager) met with the two advisory board champions identified for D.C. to discuss the national initiatives and how they can support local work-based learning. Marriott will also support NAF advisory boards in South Florida, Dallas, and Charlotte.
