Featured Video: Being Green
At the Princeton Farmer's Market last week, we asked people to share their ideas for practicing sustainability. Here are a couple of responses.

Bring your ideas to our festival of sustainability! We'll have a whiteboard for you to share your thoughts. Some could lead to concrete campus initiatives through the Green Labs Recognition Program which we are pursuing with the Office of Sustainability.

We also have a virtual idea board for sharing sustainability challenges, program ideas and strategies for engagement. Please participate!

EHS Strategic Planning: Help Us Shape Our Future
EHS is in the midst of updating our strategic plan for the next five years, and we would appreciate your input. Here are some of the ways you can provide feedback on what EHS is doing well, could be doing better, should do more of, should do less of, etc.
Our updated, draft mission: We have an unwavering commitment to protect people and the environment, in support of the University’s mission. We foster partnerships with faculty, students, and staff to enable them to recognize risk and empower them to learn, discover, serve, and work safely.

Our new draft vision: A future where safety, health, preparedness, and environmental stewardship permeate every aspect of campus life.

  1. Participate in a focus group, in person or via Zoom, where EHS staff will be present for part of the discussion and a facilitator from outside EHS will be present for the rest of the discussion to collect candid feedback that will only be aggregated with all feedback sessions and only attributed to you if you ask to do so. Send an email to Lynne Brown at lb5@princeton.edu to be included in a session.
  2. Provide written, anonymous comments on the EHS Strategic Planning Feedback Idea Board. You may add your own comments or upvote existing entries.
  3. Contact anyone from EHS for a more focused discussion.

We look forward to your ideas and constructive feedback.
