This half-day conference will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Ari Brown, who will provide insight into “Talking to People About Vaccine Concerns.” Dr. Brown is coming to us from Austin TX. In addition to her work as a practicing pediatrician and owner of “411 Pediatrics,” she is also a best-selling author and a spokeswoman for the AAP.
The remainder of the time will be spent engaging in lively user discussions through breakout sessions on various vaccine management topics, including:

- Best Practices for Improving Immunization Rates
- Legislative Update & How to Get Involved

Flu Pre-Book Reminder and Deadlines |
Please don’t forget about pre-booking your flu vaccines for the 2023-2024 flu season. Here is a summary of details and deadline dates from our flu vaccine partners:
Sanofi – Updated pricing and program details for Fluzone®, High-Dose Fluzone and Flublok® vaccines for the 2023-2024 flu season can be obtained by contacting the CPP office.
Pre-book by March 31, 2023 to receive the CPP member discount, delivery commitment and returns allowance. CPP members can earn a 1% rebate on all influenza vaccines purchased directly through Sanofi by December 31, 2023. Flu vaccines must be purchased through your Sanofi account that is linked to the CPP Sanofi Mainline contract to be eligible.
AstraZeneca – Updated pricing and program details for FluMist® can be obtained by contacting the CPP office. Place reservations through authorized distributors of FluMist® (McKesson, FFF Enterprises and Besse Medical) or by visiting the FluMist website.
- Pre-book by April 30, 2023 to receive the CPP member discount, delivery commitment and returns allowance.

The CDC has published updated immunization schedules for 2023. Among the notable updates are:
- COVID-19 vaccines for children, adolescents and adults.
- New flu language has been added.
- New measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine, a hepatitis B vaccine, and a new pneumococcal vaccine for children and seniors.
- Guidance on use of the 20-valent conjugate pneumococcal vaccine in previously immunized adults.
