On September 29, Greg Moffatt, CIAC Vice President, Policy and Corporate Secretary, spoke at the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources on Hydrogen Energy. He told the Committee the importance of the Canadian chemistry sector for achieving the Government's hydrogen energy goals and that targeted policies and investments are needed to ensure we can meet these goals.

Montreal's comprehensive plastic bag ban comes into...
Fines will range from $200 to $1,000 for a first infraction and $300 to $2,000 for subsequent infractions. A bylaw barring the distribution of plastic shopping bags in Montreal's 19 boroughs goes into effect on Tuesday, the city has announced.
