New Individual Advantage Products From Allied National Launched!

Allied National has created Individual Advantage - a portfolio of insured and non-insured products designed to be sold to the individual market (ages 18 to 89). It features one enrollment platform, one billing source and one 800 # for individual clients. Benefits include:


  • Robust Allied Association Membership Package with enhanced benefits option
  • Individual Dental with choice of three benefit schedules
  • Individual Vision/Hearing with choice of two benefit schedules
  • Individual Hospital Indemnity with Accident Benefit Option


These are competitive guarantee issue products with level commissions first year and renewal on the fully insured products and a PEPM fee paid on the membership fee.  


To access the insured products, individuals join the not-for-profit Allied Association, which includes a host of non-insured products that are tailored to helping members save money and make life easier. The optional enhanced membership offers even more benefits AND more compensation to the agent!  


Once enrolled in the association, members have available to them fully insured products for dental, vision/hearing, and hospital indemnity with accident medical (plan availability varies by state). See each product brochure for full details. 

Examples of target audiences are 1099/gig workers and the senior market. Selling Medicare or ACA products to individuals? Individual Advantage is an excellent way to enhance the client’s benefits and increase agent compensation.

 

Once enrolled, all non-claim customer service, such as premium billing and agent commission, is handled by Allied National and 90 Degree Benefits.

It’s Not Too Late… Important Information from our Spring Refresh Webinar

If you missed our “Spring Refresh Webinar” on what’s new at Allied, catch up by listening to the recorded webinar below. This webinar is filled with great information! We covered our newest underwriting process for groups of 15+ in addition to our rich new buy-up opportunities that are available with our Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plans. 


For instance, starting immediately, no IHQs are required for groups of 15+ enrolled employees, as long as the required support materials are provided, and the groups are not virgin groups.


Plus, MEC now has two buy-up options — MEC Plus and MEC Advantage. These affordable plans vary from basic preventive coverage to preventive coverage with additional benefits featuring small copays.

Allied National has a dedicated team of trained staff with years of experience to help you, and your clients answer questions about Allied’s RBP Freedom Plans plans and how they work. Our team is dedicated to making sure this is as easy a transition as possible. We can help members during the introduction of the plan and while the plan is active. 


Our Elite Team and members of our Freedom Plans have access to a great new tool, CompassConnect. This service is used for finding medical providers who are reference-based pricing friendly in a specific area. You can call our Elite Team at 866-332-1987 to have them look up an area to see if there are RBP providers available in that area. If there is a specific provider that is needed ask our Elite Team members to contact a provider to see if they will accept our RBP. Our team does a great job of educating providers and getting them to accept RBP patients.
