SUPPORTING THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER

I was proud to be able to present a check to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa to help in the fight against breast cancer. Remember, Intrepid committed to give $1,000 for every boat sold at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. On top of that, our marketing team at United Landmark Associates generously matched our contribution to enable us to double our support for those on the front lines of treatment and care for those affected by this disease.

PRODUCTION UPDATES ON

NEW MODELS

We are making tremendous progress on the production of two new models: the 427 Nomad SE and the 51 Panacea. Check out the video to see how these innovative designs are taking shape. The 427 Nomad SE will be the first to debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February.

Speaking of boating events, be sure to mark your calendar for the Stuart Boat Show on January 13-15. I’m looking forward to spending quality time with the Intrepid nation to kick off 2023.

I never get tired of expressing my gratitude for all your support because Intrepid is able to achieve great things because of your enthusiasm for what we do and your loyalty to our company. That commitment was so important this year as we encountered and overcame so many challenges relating to the economy, supply chain problems, and more.

INTREPID’S EXCITING KICKOFF TO 2023

This past year has been so full of achievements and memorable moments

that everyone at Intrepid is truly thankful for. But we’re already energized about all the excitement that’s in store for 2023.

It all starts at the Stuart Boat Show on January 13-15 on Florida’s Treasure Coast. It’s a great event that is a bit more laid-back and casual than other boat shows. I’ll be there with Ken Clinton, Joe Brenna, and the Intrepid sales team with a carefully selected lineup of models, including our new 41 Valor. We’d love to see you there!

February will be an even bigger month with the debut of the 427 Nomad SE, our roomier and more powerful center console. Next is the Miami International Boat Show, February 15-19. Mark your calendars because it’s the largest boating event on the planet, and Intrepid will be there in full force with an over-the-top lineup of our newest powerboats. We’ll have more details in the coming days but trust me … you do not want to miss this show.

THE CAPTAIN'S CORNER

SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE IN 2022

It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of 2022 already! I’m sure that the high level of activity here at Intrepid is part of what has made the time pass so quickly.

Our company’s alliance with MarineMax has been a great change for us. My network of contacts has grown considerably over the past year with additions from the various MarineMax locations throughout the country.

In July, I was delighted to participate in the National Service Managers Meeting at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor and then was invited to the 2022 Department Top Gun Awards trip at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach last month. Both events were a good opportunity for me to meet the talented people who run the MarineMax locations. It’s a tremendous benefit for Intrepid’s Custom Care teams in Largo and Dania to know who we can contact if we need service or parts help throughout the nation.

I also traveled to Mercury’s Lake X last month for the introduction of the new V10 400hp outboard. We have a triple set of these new engines on our 41 Valor now and couldn’t be more pleased with the performance they are providing. Everyone who ran with me at Lake X was amazed by the silence and torque that these engines provide. We’ll be showing our boat with these engines at the boat shows next year.  

It has been an exciting year here at Intrepid. We’ve worked hard and accomplished much. Our extended family includes all who sell our boats, as well as all those who build and repair them. We are all like-minded souls who know what a good thing is. Working with everyone who has anything to do with our company is my greatest reward, so thanks to everyone for their friendship and loyalty to our brand.



Finally, my special thanks go to our Intrepid Nation customers who give us all their thoughts and ideas that allow us to build the boats that are one of a kind, one at a time!
