Our new Yachts Division in Swansboro, North Carolina continues to experience incredible activity and progress. We have two 51 Panaceas in construction, while the facility evolves and expands.
A new 85-foot paint booth is being installed, followed by a dust containment booth. We are grateful for the continued investment of MarineMax for this machinery, along with ongoing enhancements to the facility for our boatbuilders and support staff.

| | We’re already hard at work getting ready for the Miami International Boat Show on February 14–18, 2024. Because it’s held indoors at the Convention Center, you don’t have to worry about rain or bad weather. Experiencing our beautiful Intrepid boats glittering under the lights is really something special. We’d love to see you there! | | Once again, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was a real highlight for Intrepid. We caught up with existing customers and welcomed many new faces to our family amidst perfect weather all week. Our expanded in-water display allowed us to present an unmatched selection of our latest models, including the popular 51 Panacea, a crowd favorite. The show was a great kickoff to boat show season and we can’t wait for the next time we’re all together. | | |
Intrepid is also proud to support the fight against breast cancer with a charitable donation for every boat sold during the show. Thanks to all the new members of the Intrepid family, we were able to provide a gift of $10,000 for important research and care for the Moffitt Cancer Center.

We were very busy and had a lot of guests come to see us. It was great to catch up with all our friends who attended, so thanks again for dropping by. | | One of the options that some of our customers choose on their new boats is the addition of PlasDeck flooring to their cockpit soles. There are many colors and designs available, and it can be added to new boats as well as boats that are already out in the field. Occasionally I’ll receive a call from someone who plugs their boat into dockside shore power and then doesn’t see voltage on the cabin panel. This is usually due to a tripped ELCI (Equipment Leakage Current Interrupter) circuit breaker.
ELCI’s are required by ABYC and are an important part of a boat's safety system, providing protection for those in and around the boat. The ELCI breaker is usually in a bilge compartment located near the shore power inlet.
