CAFP in Washington, D.C.

Kyle Leggott, MD, and Corey Lyon, DO, along with other members of the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP) went to Washington, D.C. for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Advocacy Summit, from May 20-21. During this gathering, almost 300 family physicians advocated for family medicine and the needs of their patients. Patients are saying some nice things about our clinicians:

Colleen Conry, MD

"Colleen Conry is perhaps the most caring, unbiased, equitable provider that I have met. Perhaps that's because she's been through some of her own medical complications. I honor and am appreciative of her and the care that she has given me over the last 12 years. I will miss her greatly and hope that the hiring team, the vetting team, and the selection committee really are intentional about who they fill this tremendous gap with."

Miriam Lindrooth, MD

"Dr. Lindrooth is a gifted, evidenced based physician, who still has the ability to think outside of the box. She exhibits kindness, compassion and follow through. If she doesn't have the answer, she will admit it and seek to find it. UCHealth is fortunate to have this gifted doctor, who could practice anywhere, but chooses to help the population that is neglected the most."
