LifeWave President Meredith Berkich kicked off Friday by asking: What do you expect to take away from LifeWave Global Convention?
Are you hoping to build belief in the company?
Are you hoping to build belief in the products?
Are you hoping to build belief in yourself?
She then shared her keys to building belief with innovation in both the technology we share and the way we approach challenges by using creativity, process, education, training, and how we present the business.
Be Courageous
To be an innovative organization as a company, as individuals, or as a community, we must be courageous. Change is inevitable, and it takes courage to embrace change and evolve for greater success.
There are countless examples of companies that failed to innovate. Meredith listed a few, including Polaroid, Blockbuster, Atari, and Yahoo. In a rapidly changing industry with projections that half of the world's population will have a side gig by the year 2026, the opportunities to innovate are all around us.
We must be courageous.
Embrace Change
The only constant is change, and handling it with innovation is crucial to continued success. Meredith shared the difference between tolerating change and embracing change with innovation.
To Tolerate Change is to passively accept it and maintain it without moving forward.
Embracing Change is to be proactive and enthusiastic. This leads to innovation by seeing new circumstances as growth opportunities, having excitement in learning and applying something new, and striving for continuous improvement.
Stay Curious
Innovation may require us to move away from our traditional thoughts. Meredith cited Founder and CEO David Schmidt's constant curiosity. Not only is he thinking about our incredible product technology, but he's always exploring new ways to change the world.
Take the innovations you learn here and the vision and mission of LifeWave back to your families, friends, and into your communities.
